Champagne Pools is a must see for anyone visiting Fraser Island. It is popular with backpackers who love to sun bake and swim.

While full of fun for families who like to snorkel in shallow waters with the kids. It is like a little aquarium filled with tiny fish everywhere that are trapped in the pools at low tide.

Bogged – Don’t be a Victim and Get Bogged at Inskip Point

“A little advice prior to your arrival at Inskip Point to ensure you don’t get bogged”

Visitors to Fraser Island often have no real idea of what to expect once they reach Inskip point.

It’s advisable that you make a quick stop in the car park area ( under the shade of the trees) and prepare to let down your tyres. Driving in the soft sand with fully inflated tyres is bad news and you’ll just get bogged.

What Does the Covid-19 Travel Restrictions to Fraser Island mean ?

Interstate visitors can travel to Queensland without quarantine unless they are travelling from a hotspot. At the time of writing, there are currently no hotspots in Australia

Fraser Island has a unique little freshwater swimming hole called Orange creek.

And yes it is orange-ish, perhaps a little more brown than orange. I would describe it as tea coloured.
