Yidney Rocks is a rocky outcrop on Fraser Island, located just before Happy Valley on the Eastern Beach.
Occasionally when driving 75Mile (Beach) Road you will need to use the Yidney Rock Bypass track especially if the tides are high.

The Marloo Shipwreck is a sunken ship located about 300 meters off the coast of Orchid Beach.
When you drive down the northern jump-up from Orchid Beach, you can just see the shadow of the wreck in the distance.

Great Sandy National Park – Wathumba camping area – Managed camping ground
If you enjoy fishing and camping, consider the Wathumba campground on the western side of the island. The whiting and the dart are plentiful where the creek meets the ocean.
It’s also a great spot for Kayaking and bird watching in the estuary of the creek. It can be a very popular spot for day users that come from Orchid Beach during peak times of the school holidays.
